International Experience
Purpose
Through faculty relationships and student-exchanges, the College of Business and Economics has built an affiliation with IBF (Integrated Business Faculty) in Skopje, Macedonia. An important part of this relationship has been a dialogue about how students at each institution could share their experiences with each other. A group of selected Vandal Solutions members would like to capitalize on this discourse by traveling to Skopje to teach a group of IBF students about selected marketing and business methods. Through our interactions with IBF students we hope to encourage practical business methods that stimulate free enterprise and economic development.
Project Description
The Macedonia project is focused on educational development and community enhancement. There are three objectives we would like to achieve in our two week program:
- Organizational Structure
- IBF students will be trained on the current organizational structured used by the project team in Vandal Solutions.
- Service Quality Analysis
- IBF students will develop a strong rapport with local Macedonian businesses and be able to write effective analysis of their client’s customer service.
- Market Research
- IBF students will become proficient on computer programs used to run and control a successful business. They will also become proficient at doing surveys, programming, marketing, and advising to the local businesses.
